1st Semester

Very often the essential knowledge about files is diluted in different courses (machine structure, algorithmic, information systems, analysis, databases, operating systems...) with different approaches that make the synthesis, the most important thing, between these various knowledge is not always made. This is why we have brought them together in one course, so that the student can:

• Create efficient file structures that satisfy the requirements of all types of applications;

• Acquire an understanding of the terminology and basic concepts of the files;

• Have a sufficient understanding of media technology to prevent media from

• Acquire knowledge on the different types of file organization, their representation, their operation, and how to make a decision;

• It is necessary to perceive all these elements as a cohesive and complete whole, which is necessary for other teachings and working life.
